Crescent Ridge Services
Crescent Ridge Services, based in Tavistock, Ontario, has been a trusted name in electrical and mechanical contracting for over 30 years, delivering reliable and efficient solutions to farms, businesses, and homes across Ontario.
Founded by Bruce Bechtel, the company initially specialized in residential and agricultural electrical work, particularly for local farms and pig barns. Bruce’s leadership drove rapid growth, leading to the development of 6MW of solar projects for various subcontractors (2015–2017). During this time, he oversaw 1.6MW of solar tracking systems along Lake Huron, while his partner Ken led expansion efforts in Southern Ontario.
The introduction of Ontario’s Green Energy Act marked a turning point, propelling Crescent Ridge Services into the Solar PV sector through partnerships with local firms for ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects. In 2018, new ownership ushered in a fresh phase of growth and diversification, solidifying CRS as a leader in renewable energy solutions.
Today, CRS has evolved into a turnkey solutions provider, managing projects from planning to commissioning. Our expertise spans Solar PV, EV Charging Solutions, and Agricultural Electrical Services, ensuring top-quality execution in every project.

CRS handles all aspects, including dual-axis trackers from Deger and Sonnen, single-axis trackers, seasonal adjust systems, carports, and pitched roof systems.
